Over memorial weekend in 2022 I took the Amtrak Train to Albany and rode my bike home. This trip was to honor my grandfather and my brother who both passed in 2021. Steve sailed to Florida via the Erie Canal and grandpa grew up in the Mohawk Valley. Miss them both. #longwayhome
We did a 4 mile loop hike that included Elks Flat Trail and Devils Culdron. The weather could not have been better and the views were breathtaking. Highly recommend.
Lost Lake has now become my new happy place. Crystal clear water, breath taking views of Mount Hood and plenty of trails, you could spend a week and not get enough.
Cannon Beach is an amazing location on the coast of Oregon. Make sure you take the time to walk the beach, check out the local shops and get your Salt Water Taffy fill at Schwietert's Cones & Candy.
In the Finger Lakes, Keuka Lake and Seneca Lake are connected via a seven-mile river known as the Keuka Lake Outlet that was home to several modes of transportation. This short river is the outlet of Keuka Lake and flows downhill from Penn Yan to Dresden on the shores of Seneca Lake.
